How It Works

As a Hammacher Schlemmer Rewards member, you receive various money-saving benefits, subject to the terms and conditions below:

  • 10% cash back on every purchase from Hammacher Schlemmer
  • 5% cash back on purchases from 1,000+ Marketplace retailers
  • Unlimited shipping and return shipping rebates at Hammacher Schlemmer
  • Shipping and return shipping rebates up to $10 per order at Marketplace retailers

Your membership is non-transferable. Your benefits are available to you and your immediate family only. “Immediate family" means you, your spouse or partner, and children over the age of 18 who are permanent residents in your home. There is a limit of one membership per household. For Rewards benefits to apply, all Hammacher Schlemmer purchases must be made using the one membership associated with the household, which will be identified by email for those who joined online and by name and address for those who joined after placing a phone order.
In addition, membership benefits are only available to personal, non-commercial purchasers. Any order that is deemed a commercial (non-personal) use or high-volume/reseller order, at our sole discretion, will not be eligible for membership benefits.

The Hammacher Schlemmer Lifetime Guarantee does not apply to the Rewards program.

10% Cash Back at Hammacher Schlemmer

As a Rewards member, you receive unlimited 10% cash back on every purchase from Hammacher Schlemmer.

How to receive 10% cash back

You can shop online, in-store, over the phone, or by mail order and earn 10% cash back on every purchase from Hammacher Schlemmer! Simply shop online, over the phone, or by catalog mail order as you normally would. We’ll automatically add 10% cash back to your Savings page and mail you a check for your earnings the following month.

Limits & Details:

Only merchandise purchases are eligible for 10% cash back. Taxes, shipping charges, and other fees are not included in your 10% cash back earnings. Gift Wrap is excluded from 10% cash back. Hammacher Schlemmer purchases made on third-party sites are not eligible for 10% cash back. All purchases must be made directly with Hammacher Schlemmer to qualify for 10% cash back.

5% Cash Back at Marketplace Retailers

As a member, you also receive 5% cash back when you shop at 1,000+ retailers in the Marketplace. You can earn up to $1,000 in cash back on Marketplace purchases every year as an active member.

How to receive 5% cash back

You can earn 5% cash back when you shop at Marketplace retailers online, in-store, over the phone, or by mail order. Your 5% cash back amount is based on your purchase total (minus taxes and fees).

Online: Earn 5% cash back automatically when you shop through your Rewards account.

  1. Sign into your Rewards account and click “Shop” on your main menu. Then select “Shop Marketplace” from the dropdown.
  2. Select a retailer from the Marketplace and click through the links to shop online. Be sure to complete your purchase in the new window that opens after you click “Shop Now”.
  3. After your purchase, we’ll automatically add 5% cash back to your Savings and mail you a check for your earnings the following month.

Offline: You can also shop at Marketplace retailers in-store, over the phone, or by catalog mail order and submit a rebate claim for 5% cash back on your purchases.

  1. Make a purchase at any eligible Marketplace retailer.
  2. Complete a rebate form with information about your purchase.
  3. Mail in your rebate form and proof-of-purchase documentation to:

Once we receive your mailed rebate form and proof-of-purchase documentation, we’ll review your claim within 3-6 weeks. Then, we’ll add your cash back to your Savings page and send you a check for all your approved earnings the following month.

You can also submit rebate claims for 5% cash back online from your Rewards account. Once you’ve signed in, click “Rebates” on your main menu and follow the instructions provided to submit your claim online. Please note that all rebate claims must be submitted within 60 days of your purchase.

Limits & Details:

To qualify for 5% cash back, your purchase must be made at an eligible Marketplace retailer. The 5% cash back is valid on merchandise only. Marketplace retailers are subject to change without notice. You can view the current list of eligible retailers by visiting the Marketplace from your Rewards account. Simply click “Shop” on your main menu, then “Shop Marketplace” from the dropdown.

Once you receive a shipping confirmation, your 5% cash back earnings will apply to your Savings page within 5-7 days. Online Marketplace retailers labeled “Rebate Required” are not eligible for automatic cash back. You’ll need to submit a rebate claim to receive 5% cash back on purchases from these retailers. One purchase per retailer per day is eligible for 5% cash back. Purchases of gift cards and money orders, as well as purchases using a retailer’s bill-pay service, are not eligible for 5% cash back at Marketplace retailers. You can earn up to $1,000 in cash back on Marketplace purchases every year as an active member. Additional restrictions may apply for each participating retailer. Any order returned or cancelled will not be eligible for 5% cash back. To view restrictions for a specific retailer, visit the online Marketplace and click to view that retailer’s page.

Shipping and Return Shipping Rebates

You can claim unlimited shipping and return shipping rebates on purchases from Hammacher Schlemmer. You can also claim shipping and return shipping rebates of up to $10 per purchase from Marketplace retailers. You’re eligible for a total of $500 in shipping rebates and $500 in return shipping rebates on Marketplace purchases every year. Please note that all rebate claims must be submitted within 60 days of your original purchase.

How to submit a rebate claim

Online Claims: Submit your rebate claim online from your Rewards account:

  1. Click “Rebates” on your main menu.
  2. Select your rebate type and enter your purchase information.
  3. Submit your proof-of-purchase through the portal or email it to [email protected] with your claim number in the subject line.

Mailed Claims: Send your rebate claim and proof-of-purchase to our mailing address:

  1. Complete a rebate form with all required information.
  2. Mail your rebate form and proof-of-purchase documentation to:

To download and print additional rebate forms, visit your Rebates page from your Rewards account or contact the Rewards Customer Service team to have them mailed to you.

Return Shipping Rebates for Hammacher Schlemmer Purchases

You can follow the same steps as you would for claiming a shipping rebate. However, you’ll just need to indicate whether you paid a return shipping charge of $10.95 (for shipments under 10 lbs.) or $14.95 (for shipments over 10 lbs.).

For online claims, select which return shipping charge you paid from the dropdown in step 2. For mailed claims, simply indicate which of the two return shipping charges you paid on your rebate form.

Proof of Purchase for Shipping Rebates:

All your shipping rebate claims must be submitted with valid proof-of-purchase documentation. Your proof-of-purchase documentation must be unaltered and include the purchase date, purchase total, items purchased, and the shipping and handling charges you paid.

Proof-of-purchase for Return Shipping Rebates:

If you’re returning a Marketplace purchase, you must submit two forms of documentation with your return shipping rebate claim: proof of your original purchase and proof of your return shipping charge.

If you’re returning a Hammacher Schlemmer purchase, only proof of your original purchase is required.

Examples of valid proof-of-purchase include:

  • An order confirmation page
  • An order confirmation email
  • A ship confirmation email
  • A packing slip
  • A sales receipt

Savings

All your membership earnings are added to your Savings page, whether you shop at Hammacher Schlemmer or at Marketplace retailers. To visit your Savings page, sign into your Rewards account online and click “Savings” on your main menu.

You can also check up on your Savings and the status of your claims by calling the Rewards Customer Service team at 800-203-1405.

On the 15th of every month, we’ll send you a check for all approved earnings in your Savings.

Canceling Your Membership

You can cancel your membership online from your Rewards account or contact the Rewards Customer Service team with your request.

To cancel Hammacher Schlemmer Rewards from your Rewards account, sign in with your member credentials at HammacherRewards.com/sign-in. Once you’ve signed in, click “Account” on your main menu, then select “Cancel Membership” from the dropdown. Follow the instructions provided to finalize your cancellation request.
